Anna Jarvis sign
Sign located on Rt. 250/119 in Webster, WV. I also have a photo of the house. Sign reads: Anna Jarvis' Birthplace - Anna Jarvis was born here, 5-1-1864. Through her efforts President Wilson designated in 1914 the second Sunday in May as Mothers Day. She died 11-24-1948 and was buried in West Laurel Hill Cemetery, Bala-Cynwyd, Pennsylvania.
Grafton Catholic Cemetery
Sign located on Rt. 50, across from the Grafton hospital, Grafton, WV. Sign reads: Old Catholic Cemetery - About 500 graves of early Grafton settlers, dating 1857-1917, are in old cemetery located on land given by Sarah Fetterman to St. Augustine Catholic Church. Headstones include names of Irish and German emigrants. Buried here is Thomas McGraw, B&O Railroad construction supervisor, local merchant and father of John T. ~ lawyer, banker, politician and coal, railroad and lumber
Tygart Lake Dam sign
Sign located at intersection of Rt. 250 & Rt. 50 in Grafton, WV. Sign reads: Federal Dam - Great dam built by United States Government two miles south on the Tygarts Valley River to control floods in the Monongahela Valley. It is 210 feet high and 1780 feet long. It forms a lake of over 4000 acres, 73 miles around.

Sign located at intersection of Rt. 250 & Rt. 50 in Grafton, WV. Sign reads: Grafton - William Robinson preempted Buffalo Flats, Site of Grafton, in 1773. Here is the only National cemetery in State. Former home of John T. McGraw, financier, and Meville Davisson Post, author. Anna Jarvis, founder of Mother's day, lived here.
Pruntytown sign
Sign located at intersection of Rt. 50 and Rt 250 in Pruntytown, WV. Sign reads: Industrial school for the boys - The West Virginia Industrial School for boys was established in 1889 by an act of the Legislature and was formally opened July 21, 1891 for the purpose of training boys committed to the institution by the courts of West Virginia.
Valley Falls sign
Sign located at intersection of Rt. 50 and County Rt. 310 in Grafton, WV. Sign reads: Valley Falls - Beauty spot six miles north on the boundary of Taylor and Marion counties where Tygarts Valley River dashes through a mile-long gorge in series of lovely falls and rapids. Included in 1000-acre grant to Thomas Parkeson in 1773.
Sign located on Walnut St., Grafton, W.Va. at GPS co-ordinates N39°20'10.1" W80°01'46.0". Sign reads: National Cemetery - The first National Military Cemetery in West Virginia is located on Walnut Street in Grafton. Established in 1867 for permanent burial of Civil War dead. Bailey Brown, the first Union soldier killed in the war, is buried here.
