French Creek game farm is located about 1/2 hour south of Buckhannon, West Virginia on State Route 20.

The animal park has a 1+ mile paved trail around the animal exhibits. The shaded walk is mostly level and has a small pond / rest area.

They also have a gift shop and restroom available.

A pair of Grey Wolves had pups in early May on our visit. The mother had them covered, so we couldn't see them (but we could hear them)
The pair of red fox also had a pup running around. It was probably the liveliest animal at the farm.

French Creek Freddy

The (kinda) famous weather predicting groundhog of West Virginia. Freddy was busy munching on grass during our visit.

The bald eagle kept careful watch as we strolled by.

There were also buffalo, grey fox, black bears, otters, coyote, owls, eagles, hawks, pheasant, turkeys, bobcats and more.

Admission was $3/adult and $1.50/children
