Second grade class at Jayenne Elementary School in 1922 in Fairmont, WV. Madge (Triplett) Rogers is shown on the front row sixth from the right. Maxine (Fimple) Steel is seventh (beside Madge) and Polly (Kuhn) Barnes is ninth. Some of the students are shown without shoes. Interestingly, Henry E. Triplett, Madge's father, along with his son, delivered coal to the school in the mid-20's. This information was found in one of Henry Triplett's logbooks.
