Anthony Hill (1860-1953) born in Barbour Co., WV, son of Edward &  Catharine 
(Digman) Hill. Married Sarah Emmaline (Bogard) (1858-1920) in 1879,  Barbour 
Co.  She was born in Doddridge Co., WV, a daughter of John R. &  Eliza (Shinn) 
Bogard.  The Hills resided in Barbour, Doddridge and finally  settled in Wood 
Co., WV about 1901.  Their farm was on Old Rt 2, North  Parkersburg, WV near 
the entrance of present day North Hills.  They are  buried in Evergreen North 
Cemetery, Parkersburg.
