West Virginia's Fenton Glass Pottery is located along the Ohio River in Williamstown. Hopefully everyone is familiar with their beautiful vase and collectible glassware.

They are well known for their glass lamps, bells, baskets, cats, pitchers, dinnerware, eggs, figurines, shoes, swans, dishes, and many other handmade and handpainted glass art.

We took a tour around the plant and stumbled upon the remenants of the reject glassware. Glass that doesn't pass their quality check is cooled and sorted (by color) in piles.

Green Fenton Glass

This tub of green Fenton Glass never made it out of the tub. Can you recognize any of your favorite glass ware in this example?

Pink Fenton

Another example of pink glass lamps, figurines and collectibles that didn't make the cut. I believe they had som milk glass mixed with the pink.

Black & Blue Fenton Glass Piles

Here they have black, blue and clear already sorted and ready to be sold.
