Bobcat

The Bobcat is about 2.5' to 3' in length and weighs 15 to 20 pounds. They live in rural parts of West Virginia, traveling up to 50 miles from their home.

The Bobcat is very strong and quick. They are able to bring down a whitetail deer as well as domestic animals. Bobcats have a wide variety diet which includes rabbits, birds, berries and just about anything edible.

They stalk their prey, jump on its back and bite at the base of the skull.They normally hunt during the night and are seldom during the day

Bobcats normally have 2 kits in February or March.
